Material Type Just like the other rigid packaging, it is manufactured using a blowing process with a main material for the body:
Bottle Body (PET - Polyethylene Terephthalate): Uses high-clarity PET to visually imitate traditional glass bottles, offering the same "clean" presentation but with a fraction of the weight.
Cover (PP - Polypropylene or HDPE): The white grooved thread cover is the industry standard, chosen for its rigidity to ensure a good sealing torque without breaking the thread.
Liner: This will require an internal liner (such as an induction seal or a pressure-sensitive foam disc) to ensure that the product does not leak and maintains its freshness.
Main Features
Sloped Shoulders: This is the visual characteristic that defines him. The cylindrical body gradually narrows towards the cell. This design helps the product (especially octopus or pasta) to flow or be extracted more easily from the outlet.
Neck and Mouth: The difference between the Straight Sided plug (where the mouth is as large as the body), in this design the diameter of the plug is slightly smaller than the maximum diameter of the plug.
Labeling Area: Due to the curve of the shoulders and the base, the flat area available to place an adhesive label or the shrink sleeve is strictly limited to the central cylindrical section.
Resistance and Properties of Barrera
Protection Barrier: PET provides great protection against oxygen and humidity, keeping the product fresh. Besides being transparent, it does not block light (UV rays), which is why it is not ideal for photosensitive products unless a label is applied that covers the entire container.
Physical Resistance: It is highly resistant to impacts (shatterproof). It is the perfect alternative to glass to avoid accidents due to breakages in the supply chain or in stores.
Thermal Resistance: Shares the same limitations as standard PET: not suitable for high temperatures. Filling this container with liquids at more than 60°C - 70°C will cause the plastic to soften and the container to deform permanently. Supports very good refrigeration.
Recyclability: Highly recyclable in practically any municipal program (Plastic #1).
